SANSKAR PUBLIC SCHOOL believes in curriculum that includes all those studies which are necessary for the all round development of the students. Our intention is to incorporate the best learning practices drawn from the NCF and CBSE, New Delhi. We strictly follow the CBSE Syllabus and the NCERT Books as directed by CBSE, New Delhi. We follow the guideline of CBSE for assessment that is Uniform System of Assessment which is based on PERIODIC TEST, HALF-YEARLY and ANNUAL EXAM along with SUBJECT ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES, COMPLETION and SUBMISSION OF HOME WORK, REGULARITY, CLEANLINESS, NEATNESS etc.

ACTIVITY REPORT

2015-16

  1. The main object of Abakash Foundation is to provide quality education in rural areas. Private education institutions are normally not established in rural areas because of economic non-viability. Government educational institutions in rural areas lack quality in terms of education and infrastructure. Abakash Foundation intends to provide quality educational facilities for deprived students of rural area.
  2. Rahani is a Gram Panchayat situated 20 kms from nearest sub division Kamakhya Nagar. There are one primary/secondary and one high school within 2 kms of Rahani. The nearest college Birasal College is 1 kms from Rahani. These schools and colleges do not have adequate teaching faculties, class rooms and other infrastructures. There is no Public school within 20 kms from Rahani.
  3. Realizing this, managing trustee Sibani Pati gave 4.76 acre land at Rahani on lease to the trust. She also constructed building from her own source on the said land for running of educational institution by the trust.
  4. Abakash Foundation established a public school in Rahani "Sanskar Public School" in the year 2014. The school got affiliation from CBSE on 1st April 2017.
  5. In the session 2015-16, Sanskar Public School conducted classes from Nursery to class VII. 361 students studied in this session.
  6. 26 teaching and 16 non teaching staff was employed in the school in this session. In addition to administrative and teachers rooms, the school had sixteen class rooms, twelve toilets, one library room and play ground measuring 94mtr X 94mtr.
  7. The Annual Athletics meet was conducted on 21 and 22 December 2015. Annual function was conducted on 28.01.2016 parents-teachers meeting were held periodically during this session.
  8. Biswanjan Garhnayak of class-VI got first position in the painting competition in the district level organized by Axis Bank.
  9. This year the trust organized a programme "SANSKAR SOCIAL VOYAGE" with the guidance of teachers and participation of the school students. Street play was conducted and leaflets were distributed for awareness among parents in educating of their wards.

2016-17

  1. In the academic session 2016-17 Sanskar Public School has 382 numbers of students which is from Nursery to class VIII. Sanskar Public School also selected for NCC facility from Indian Army. Scouts and Guides is a part of Sanskar Public School students in this year. Like every year Sanskar Public School also successfully spread "SANSKAR SOCIAL VOYAGE" for consciousness of rural area and to create awareness in current social issues and importance of education.
  2. The Annual Athletics meet was conducted on 20 and 21 January 2016.
  3. In this historic academic session Sanskar Public School has applied for CBSE affiliation.
  4. Parents-teachers meeting were held periodically during this session.
  5. Standard VIII girls brought laurels to the school occupying 2nd position in Block level dance competition organized by CESCO.
  6. Our students occupied 2nd position in sub-divisional level parade and dance in 15 August 2016.
  7. Durga Prasad Nath and Pritika Parida of class VIII bagged with gold medals in the Olympiad exams organized by Silver Zone Foundation.
  8. In this year the first batch of Kharabela Academy appeared CHSE final exam. We have achieved 100% of result.
  9. In 2016-17 sessions 47 students took admission in first year and 45 students were promoted to 2nd year.
  10. Besides non teaching staff, 11 lecturers, 2 lab assistants were employed in this session to impart Science Experimental Education.
  11. The college had 7 class rooms, 15 toilets, 3 laboratories, 1 library in addition to hostel facilities for 50 boys and 50 girls.

2017-18

  1. In the academic session 2017-18 Sanskar Public School has 455 numbers of students which is from Nursery to class IX.
  2. Sanskar Public School achieved tremendous success by obtaining CBSE affiliation in this year.
  3. 44 numbers of students of class IX registered with CBSE.
  4. Like previous year Sanskar Public School maintained the heritage of "SANSKAR SOCIAL VOYAGE".
  5. All the students visited to historical sites during heritage week. In this year Sanskar Public School has got a remarkable achievement that is the "Best Rural School of India" award.
  6. Pritika Parida of class IX got 2nd position in district level of debate competition on the eve of Vigilance Awareness Week.
  7. 26 teaching staff was employed in the school in this session.
  8. Durga Prasad Nath, Pritika Parida, Shreesti Dash, Shreyas Kumar, Vibekananda Behara and Prateek Priyadarshan bagged with gold medals in the Olympiad exams organized by Silver Zone Foundation in this year.
  9. Our students occupied 1st position in sub-divisional level parade in both Independence Day and Republic day celebration.
  10. 26 students were studying in the school free of cost under RTE act.

2018-19

  1. In the session of 2018-19, Sanskar Public School has 551 numbers of students. The first batch of class X will appear the CBSE board examination. Sanskar public School added some new Social-economic programme like, "SANSKAR JOY OF GIVING".
  2. Pratek Priyadarshan of class IV and Lokesh Sahoo of class V got Silver Medals in National Taekwondo Championship at Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh).
  3. This year Sanskar Public School adopted a village name "Hadagari" (a village dominated by SCs and STs) and providing free education to 13 students of this village. The NCC, Scouts & Guides Students of Sanskar Public School cleaned the village time to time.
  4. Teaching and non-teaching staffs of Sanskar Public School visited Mumbai and its nearby places which were sponsored by the school authorities.
  5. 27 teaching staff was employed in the school in this session.
  6. Awareness campaigns and rallies have also been conducted in that village on the topics like, "Importance of Cleanliness", "RTE Awareness Campaign", "Safe Drinking Water", "Using Mosquito-net to Prevent Malaria", "Small Family, Happy Family", "Save Trees and Save the Earth" and many more.
  7. "Enlightenment 2018" launched in Sanskar Public School to enlighten the Teaching and Learning skill of Teachers through innovative methods by distinguished educationist and the Trainers of CBSE Centre of Excellence.
  8. Career counseling for class X students was conducted in the school by Mr. Jasobant Narayan Singhlal, Director of Identity and his group.
  9. 13 students taken admission in this session under RTE, the name of the students are as follows; Adarsha Patra, Aman Pradhan, Archita Padhan, Bablu Padhan, Barsha Padhan, Gayatri Padhan, Rakesh Padhan, Rani Padhan, Satyajit Patra, Sipun Padhan, Sradhanjali Padhan, Sunita Nayak, Saraswati Maharana.
  10. 44 students of class X has successfully registered their name for appearing as the first batch of CBSE board exam.
  11. Shreesty Dash of class X qualified the shooting round in NCC.
  12. Ananya Das of class IX selected as the Best Cadet of JW in ATC camp, IGIT Sarang.
  13. Colour Belt Test in Taekwondo was conducted in our school in this session.
  14. Swasti Santana Pati of class VIII ranked no. 1 in the essay writing competition at block level organized by the leading odia news paper "The Samaj".
  15. In 2016-17 sessions 68 students took admission in first year and 67 students were promoted to 2nd year.
  16. Besides non teaching staff, 11 lecturers, 2 lab assistants were employed in this session to impart Science Experimental Education.
  17. The college had 7 class rooms, 15 toilets, 3 laboratories, 1 library in addition to hostel facilities for 50 boys and 50 girls.
